MORE ABOUT UOFT HEART

UofT Heart is a journal club. We meet bimonthly to discuss an article previously selected my club members. One of the members will be responsible to present the selected article to the group. Following the presentation, the group discusses the overall strengths and weaknesses of the selected article. 

Furthermore, UofT Heart will host events in which a series of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons and researchers in the field of cardiology will speak.The focus of these speaker series is to educate both our members and the public about cardiovascular diseases. 

UofT Heart tries to raise funds for the international children's heart foundation to support research grants and clinical studies in the field of cardiology. UofT Heart will also try to set up programs for secondary school students to raise awareness.
